Have the women with combat jobs and have made it to the Ranger Regiment and Special Forces actually been fighting along side men, or have they been just for show?

I am very confused with your question when history can be Google and read about it, not only since the Revolution but today as well lol.

During my deployment in Iraq we had an entire team of female only and they didn’t play around when it comes to that battle field.
During the Afghanistan

Wait a minute! Does anyone remember Joan of Arc?? Florence Nightingale?? Just because history doesn't glorify their use of weaponry, they fought. There were women in the Civil War disguised as men who went to fight because women were excluded from service. They fought for God and Country. Remember those stupid Geneva Conventions cards with the Red Cross on them that Medics were supposed to wave at the invading hoards so they wouldn't get shot?? Are you kidding me? You think we wouldn't pick up a weapon and do what we had to? My group was one of the first medical groups that went in for M16 training when the military finally realized we all had a role in conflict to maintain safe and protect our freedoms. And, that a plastic card wasn't bullet proof

In light of some of the missions SOF may be called upon to conduct, female personnel could only enhance their capabilities. I think anyone who can meet and maintain themselves at the high standards required should be given the opportunity to serve in SOF or any other military unit.

A "Combat MOS" is just that isn't it? Nothing morte should need to be said. Then again, when it comes to the Army, there are many biological MALES in "Combat MOS's who I wonder if they have actually been fighting alongside MEN. In the Corps there are many WM's with breasticles that go CLANK louder than some guys. I will serve alongside ANY Marine. If I were Army, I would still do it. I would constantly watch my six though. Just had an epiphany. I wonder what branch of military invented "Fragging". I have my suspicions.

I agree, I'd go back to Deborah of the Bible, when Barak wouldn't go into battle without her.

With all due respect, I find calling someone "dude" demeaning to a legitimate question.

I'd rather know why they don't have to register for Selected Service.

Talk to your local Congressman/woman. They set the laws not you or me.

The answer is to define in detail what one means by "in Combat".

The Wacs were separated from the men when I served in combat zones. The Wacs joined to serve their country and did a great job. The new social experiment has failed...

I served in Viet Nam. Three tours of duty to Viet Nam. Spent most of my time flying in F-4Bs. I was there when half my squadron got shot down over N.Vietnam. I had over 200 missions there. And I am a Liberal or Socialist so does that make me clueless?

This is a funny question, woman has being in the fight for a long time not as SF or Rangers but as Soldiers doing their job.

If one was down range you will had witnessed such a bravery. Panama invasion hello a MP female got in to an outstanding fire fight also Afghanistan translator Army female assign to SF did also did many fire fighting. Iraq female soldiers also did their fighting. Read about before asking .
